  The staff at customer service and electrical today were terrible trying to find me a doorbell that they said had 5 in stock. Drove to the Ottawa st store from the Waterloo store to get it. At Ottawa st I waited 15 mins to speak with somebody at the end of the isle only to find the same girl at the customer service desk walk by wondering why I was waiting. Ended up walking out because they couldn’t even help themselves stay organized let alone find a product I needed. Heading to Lowe’s now. I only write bad reviews when it’s a very bad experience and it was!

  Never go in on a Saturday looking for help in the lumber department. Needed a skid of 2x4x10 pressure treated off the top shelf because (of course) the accessible one was empty, and at 5pm, there wasn't anyone able to drive the forklift. I guess they only cater to contractors on weekdays.

  This is a clean, organized store with friendly, helpful staff members. My boyfriend and I were greeted at the entrance and the man who greeted us immediately assisted us with our inquiry. The item we were after was only available online but he happily looked up prices with us and was gracious when we decided to wait on ordering (prices were higher than we anticipated). He then directed us to the tool rentals and gave his personal opinion on which machine would perform best for our needs and price range. The tool rental area was run by an equally friendly, helpful woman who clearly explained the machine operating instructions. The experience was efficient and pleasant, so I highly recommend this location for your home improvement needs.

  Good experiences here. Sometimes things are cheaper than at Lowe's which is nice. The person working the door area was super nice and helpful when we went. Good selection of products. Sometimes I am not sure where things are but when I ask someone always knows.

  I came to the store today to buy some flooring for my basement. A lady named Susan assisted my dad and I. Susan was very professional, knowledgeable and sweet. She provided quick service and engaged us in conversation the whole time. She made our floor shopping experience enjoyable. I hope to deal with her again in the future!
